中文不只是一门语言。每一个字都带着一幅画、一段故事，和一部分文化。字园从最简单的笔画开始，一个字一个字往上走。

Chinese is not only a language — every character carries a picture, a story and a piece of culture. Hanzi Garden starts from the simplest strokes and builds up, one character at a time.

是给谁看的 Who it is for

• 完全零基础的成年人——不假设你认识任何一个汉字。
• 自学的人——没有老师，需要有人在旁边把「为什么这样说」讲清楚。
• 想懂文化的人——不只是会念，还想知道这个字背后的事。

内容从哪来 Where the content comes from

汉字页上的释义、字源说明、文化注解和例句，都是本站原创编写的。甲骨文、金文的字形描述依据通行的古文字学资料。成语、古诗文原文属于公有领域，引用时标注出处。

Every character page — the meaning, the note on how the character was formed, the culture note and the example sentence — is written originally for this site. Descriptions of oracle-bone and bronze script follow standard palaeographic references. Classical texts quoted here are in the public domain.

注解的显示方式 How annotations work

中文永远是主体，外语注解一直显示在下方。点上方语言标签可以在 8 种语言之间切换；关掉拼音开关就是纯中文阅读模式。汉字和例句都能朗读，可以切慢速跟读。

Chinese is always the main text; the annotation in your language sits right below it. Switch between eight languages, turn pinyin off for pure reading practice, and listen to any character or sentence at normal or slow speed.

AI 对话训练 AI conversation practice

「对话训练」里的 AI 由第三方大模型提供。你每说一句，它会回你一句，并给出三项反馈：① 纠错　② 更地道的说法　③ 文化点。

The conversation partner is powered by a third-party large language model. After each of your replies it gives you three things: a correction, a more natural way to say it, and a culture note.
